Bringing Korean Traditional Arts to Life in Boston
BAKTA is entering an exciting new phase with a range of creative and engaging classes, in addition to our regular private and group lessons (gayageum, ajaeng, traditional dance). New offerings include Minyo (Korean traditional folk songs), Samul Janggu, where students learn traditional samulnori janggu rhythms and their applications, as well as Piri (a Korean double reed wind instrument) and Danso (a Korean bamboo flute).
We will also offer special workshops with guest artists during the summer semester and winter vacation, providing additional opportunities to explore Korean traditional music and arts.
